What have you learned about your own decision-making?

Why this matters. Fifty lessons, and the honest summary is short.

What the domain claimed

That markets are an environment where judgement fails in specific, nameable ways; that the failures are invisible from the inside while they happen; and that the only reliable countermeasure is a record written before the moment that needs it.

Not composure. Not discipline. Records, made when making them was easy.

What it refused to claim

That any of this improves returns. Nothing here demonstrates that better decision hygiene produces better performance, and the evidence for such a claim does not exist. What is demonstrable is narrower: a written process makes the distance between plan and execution visible. That is the whole promise, and it is real.

Any sentence of the form "master your psychology and trade better" belongs to the literature this domain spent three courses separating itself from.

The three courses, in one line each

Course 1 gave you names for what happens to judgement under uncertainty. Course 2 put those names into specific minutes with a position open. Course 3 extended them to months, then said where the subject stops.

What you are holding

Forty-five artefacts, none of which requires insight. The changed-mind line. The dated reason log. The two-column ledger. The base-rate sheet. The change log. The routine. The four-line check. Each is a few seconds of writing at a moment when writing is cheap.

And one thing that is not an artefact: the knowledge that a feeling of certainty, in this environment, is not evidence about the world.

The last question, and the exam asks a version of it

Not what you remember. What, in your own records, could now answer a question about you that you could not have answered before?

If the answer is "nothing yet, I have not started", that is the honest answer, and it is also the only instruction this domain ever really gave.

Try it now

Name the one artefact you will actually keep. One. The others can wait; a single record kept for a year is worth more than twenty started this week.
